Arbitration – Fees
Efficient arbitration fees are fixed based on the amount
in dispute. It is more affordable and cost-effective than traditional arbitration and
litigation. The winning party can receive a full refund after the award has been rendered.
Parties shall pay the arbitration fees, which includes arbitrators’ fees and administrative fees charged
by the approved arbitration service provider, to the arbitration service provider approved by Hong Kong
Arbitration Society (of which Hong Kong Arbitration Society shall have the sole discretion) as
follows

Remarks
#1 The
arbitration fees shall be paid by the Parties to the Dispute pursuant to Article 28 of the HKAS Rules. In
the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency, the HKAS Rules shall prevail.
#2 For an amount in dispute at or under HK$250,000, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties or Hong Kong Arbitration Society, the Arbitration is by “documents-only”, no hearing will be held.
